With attention focused on airplanes and transport infrastructure as the main means of launching a terrorist attack on the UK, a threat to Britain’s food supply has been relatively overlooked. Agroterrorism could impact the UK’s economy, as well as food supply.

GOVERNMENT MUST FACE UP TO BRAZILIAN BEEF ISSUES - WILLIAMS
Liberal Democrat spokesperson for Food and Rural Affairs, Roger Williams MP is continuing the fight to ensure untraceable Brazilian beef doesn’t end up on supermarket shelves by securing a meeting with Lord Rooker, Minister for Sustainable Farming and Food, to discuss his concerns.

End to Good Advice: Free energy guidance in Mid Wales reaches an end – Williams
After six years of providing impartial and free advice to businesses, community groups and domestic consumers on all topics relating to energy efficiency, sustainable transport and renewable energy, the Mid Wales Energy Agency has been forced to bring an end to this service.

Hundreds of RAF personnel suffering from pay errors - Lib Dems
Figures revealed by the Liberal Democrats today show that hundreds of Royal Air Force personnel, including those serving overseas, had errors in their wages in May and June, with many still not receiving the correct pay.

The mistakes stem from failures in the Joint Personnel Administration (JPA) system rolled out in March with the aim of simplifying the procedure for paying members of the Armed Forces.
