Crosfield House talks constructive

Roger Williams, MP for Brecon and Radnorshire, attended a meeting in London between the Royal British Legion and a delegation from Powys County Council to discuss the future of Crosfield House, Rhayader.

Speaking after the meeting, Mr Williams said:

"Powys County Council and the British Legion had an opportunity to explore methods of partnership and I hope these efforts may bear fruit.

"This care home is important both for the residents, their families and the local economy and I hope that it will not be necessary to close the home.

"I have made a submission to the consultation process and we now look towards next Thursday to see what decision is made regarding the future of this site."
